CHALLENGE.......

yourself today! That's right, challenge yourself today or this week whether it's big or small. OK need some examples. I challenged myself this year to be better at my blog and yes it's a challenge! Not only is it fun but it keeps you on your toes to post every day or every other day or when ever you can get to it. I like it so I can keep in touch with you as my readers and followers. Another challenge is try to make cards each week. You can set a limit ie. one per day or five per week. Don't want to make cards then try memory pages. Now is the time to get out some of your favorite pictures from Christmas and start showing those off in your Memory Album. These are just a few ideas. So get started today with this awesome challenge and see what you can come up with. I hope to share some of my creations here this week to help you out. Please share with me what you are doing and I would love to post what you've done.

ARE YOU READY?!

If you live in Kansas you need to be ready!!! For servere weather that is. That's right, it's hard to believe that Spring is right around the corner but that is when weather here gets a little intense and Kansasans need to be full aware of servere weather.



As storm spotters in our county, we get pumped up and actually go out and watch these storms so we can report back to the weather station as spotters. Some people just cringe at the word "tornadoes" and "servere weather" but that is something you have to deal with when living in good ol Kansas.



For those readers here is some information that is very helpful, informative, and interesting. National Severe Weather is March 9-13th, 2009 and for those readers just wanting some information you got to check this out.

OK NOW FOR STAMPING!!!! YEAH

I finally got a chance to get with my stamping sister since it's been a long time almost a year. Why so long, well our plans were just not working. So finally we got a chance to sit down, catch up for lost time, share what we've been working on, and most of all help one another but only for a very short time and it was so worth it. It is amazing how time flies by. We have plans to get together for next month and are going to try to do better.

It's a great feeling and wonderful theraphy for the soul to take time, relax, and do something for yourself that you enjoy. I will have more here in a few days of what we shared and had a chance to work on so stayed tune and happy stamping

Marvelous Monday!!

I had a friend email me and sent a card she had made from one of the sketches that I posted. She loved that she had something to go by so why not add more sketches. I just love this site and you will to. So if you are ever in a zone and can't come up with a card idea just look here for some awesome ideas with some very creative stampers and artists.

Finally Friday

Another week behind us and now into February we are thinking Valentines Day next week and SPRING?! Yes of course, well here in KS anyway. The weather says that spring is here!!!! The tempature is almost 70 here today and WOW, but not for long. LOL We have a chance of snow then on the last part of the week-end so we are enjoying it while we can.

So for now I am going to slow down and enjoy. I finally got around to do my card for Heather's card challenge that she put out on her blog on Monday (see Monday's post) and this is what I came up with.
